The Road Trip 2012

So it's end of the year or after the end of the year, depending when you see this, and me and my friends decide to go on a road trip. Now, before you think where, I should state, nowhere.
We just put the key in the ignition, start the car and off we go and see where we stop.

New batch of Robocop reboot set pics reveal a detailed look at the armor, Michael Keaton, and protesters

We've got a healthy batch of pics from the set of Jose Padilha's ROBOCOP reboot (on top of the ones we posted this morning), featuring Joel Kinneman decked out in the new "stealth" Robocop armor as well as Michael Keaton at a press junket of some type with a group of people protesting, well, what else? robots.  Ah, the problems of the future...
The black-clad Robocop armor can be seen in full detailed view here, along with the red visor and red lights on the back of the helmet.  We also have our first look at Robocop's gun, which looks reminiscent of the original hand-held automatic pistol.  A lot of folks have made the comparison to IRON MAN's armor, but really, is that going to be the case every time someone shows up in a film wearing robotic armor?  I'm not crazy about the "stealth" ROBOCOP, but I'm not against it either.  Ultimately, the moving images will convince me.  Well, that and the rating.  However, given the recent shitty box office of DREDD 3D, which is a similarly-themed "futuristic armored cop with a robotic voice" with a hard-R rating, it's not likely we'll see ROBOCOP go that route.
Your move, creep:

SYNOPSIS TIME:
In RoboCop, the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Their drones are winning American wars around the globe and now they want to bring this technology to the home front. Alex Murphy (Kinnaman) is a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit. After he is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp utilizes their remarkable science of robotics to save Alex's life. He returns to the streets of his beloved city with amazing new abilities, but with issues a regular man has never had to face before.
ROBOCOP is set to bring justice to theaters on August 9, 2013.

Street Fighter Dark and Gritty

STREET FIGHTER : VENGEANCE
Well, we all know about Street Fighter Legacy and the upcoming series Assassin's Fist. But how many of us know of the dark and gritty street fighter video that's been rumored in progress?

Well not many, but there is one currently in production, for youtube, been written and directed by short film director Renaldo Kell. We asked him why he's working on this short film and he replied," I think the main reason I'm doing this short s because I'm sick and tired of the fakeness that's been potrayed in alot of street fighter films and shorts. Not really story wise, but look. I think it's time to do something different and what not what fans expect." We did further try to find out more on story but all we got is who is gonna be in it. The director did explain that he wanted the story to be a surprise, just that don't expect it to be what you use to.

The fighters and cast that will be in the short are:

Ken played by Wesley Kirsten
Ryu played by Kevin Hsu
Dhalism played by Deshan Maharaj
Balrog played by Cecil Pheta

Well that's all we got now but we'll keep you up to date with news on the project.
